The National Circle of Armies, in the form of a long national circle of armies of land, sea and air, is a public administrative institution with a social and cultural vocation and a legal personality, comprising an officer's house, three hotels, Three restaurants, a bar and a reception area. Located at 8 Place Saint-Augustin in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, the CNA is housed in a palace of neo-classical inspiration completed in 1927 on the plans of the architect of the national monuments Charles Lemaresquier.

The Officers' House of the National Army Circle hosts active, retired or reserve officers, Category A officials or assimilated officials of the Ministry of Defense, as well as Legion d'honneur, Auditors of the Institute of Higher National Defense Studies or the Center for Advanced Armaments Studies and their families and guests.

The building was dedicated in 1954 to the memory of Marshal Joffre.
