Cagri Shad
Cagri Shad was a normal, if passive and pious, Turkish Housewife. She lived with her husband, his parents, and her five children. Then she witnessed something even her local Imam insisted was a hallucination: Demons devouring the faithful in the streets of Istanbul. She spent weeks wasting away, locked in her room as insanity warred with faith, and her family worried. Then, the monsters came to her home, terrorized her family, and poisoned everyone's mind against her. Everyone but Allah.
At least this is the story she tells, in her lucid moments between meds, to her therapist and anyone else who might be in earshot of her asylum cell. The staff, of course, are convinced that she is crazy. After all, her nearest neighbor claims to be the Angel of Death.
