Blood plague: This is a contagion genetically created by the Sabbat, for use in softening up cities prior to the Sword of Cain hitting the city. After initial exposure, 70% of all those exposed will develop symptoms from the disease, Kindred and Kine alike. Kindred exposed have a 95% chance of contracting. 3% become carriers with no sypmtoms, but virulent the rest of their lives unless cleansed or given the Neutralizing serum. 2% Totally immune. Changing breeds are immune.
20% of those infected will have rapid onset, especially (5% higher chance) if they are of Jewish ancestry.

Week 1: Days 1-3 no symptoms.
Week 1: Days 4-5 Minor Flu symptoms, headache, fever, achy. Vampires, no symptoms.
Week 1: Days 6-7 Major Flue symptoms, vomiting and diarrhea.Vampires, no symptoms.
Week 2: Days 8-10 Victim begins passing blood in stools and urine. Vampires, minor joint pain.
Week 2: Days 11-12 Victim begins leaking blood out of pores, tear ducts, anal and urinary tract, humans become irrational, psychotic. Vampires begin leaking blood, losing 1 blood point an hour.
Week 2: Days 13-14 Human victims become comatose, die at the end of the 14th day. Vampires pass into frenzy (effectively becoming wights), and blood loss begins to be exponential, torpor at the end of the 14th day.

Sabbat troops going into an infected city are inoculated.

Optional System: Vampires with Fortitude resist the onset of the disease for a number of days equal to their Fortitude rating. Thereafter they roll their Fortitude dice to continue resistance at a difficulty of 9. During this time they start to feel unwell, but have no actual penalties. If they botch the roll, they immediately begin to experience the first two or three stages of the disease. If they fail, the disease begins to take its defined course of infection. If they succeed, then they are symptom free for another night, but act as carriers of the Blood Plague. "06:24, 23 June 2016 (MDT)"
