Description: Invoking the negative aspects of Fertility,
the Avatar afflict a target with a curse of uncontrolled growth,
causing them to develop spontaneous cancers and malignant growths.
The individual suffers great pains as they grow tumors and cancers
throughout their body at an accelerated rate. The Avatar's player's
successes count as health levels of damage and the victim suffers
health level penalties accordingly.
The cancerous tumors can be removed through mundane surgery, if
such is available and medicinal applications like herbal remedies
or chemotherapy can be used to help resolve the Blighting Hand.
Of course magical healing can help resolve this condition, but
only if it is immediately available and the cruel Avatar can
dispel this curse with an additional expenditure of Divinity.
This Power can be used to target multiple trivial characters within
the confines of a village or hamlet.
Optionally, trivial targets may die on the spot from
agonizingly rapid cancerous growth over the course
of the scene.
This effect is permanent.
