Alexsandrina Trifonov
Appearance: Alexsandrina is an extremely athletic, attractive young woman of Bulgarian descent. She has long jet black hair that hangs to her waist and intelligent dark brown eyes. She cannot possibly weigh more than 50kg and stands 1.7 meters tall; her petite, extremely muscular form fits her lifestyle of dance and its obvious that she was embraced at the height of her development. She always wears loose fitting or flexible clothing of a stylish way, she has begun a new fashion trend among mortals involved in the world of dance.
Background: Its well known that she comes from a famous Bulgarian noble family, the Trifonovs have been a part of the Bulgarian aristocracy since before the Ottoman conquest. She was born in the late nineteenth century in Sofia and was raised to be a ballerina; she was studying in the French school of classical ballet in Paris when she rebelled and became part of the Free Dance movement of which her parents and instructors disapproved. With the aid of a secret patron, she moved to Moscow and entered the Heptachor (the School of Musical Movement) where she excelled and ultimately became an instructor. It was after her acceptance as an instructor at the Heptachor, that she was approached by Svetlana who introduced herself as the young woman's secret patron; they became friends and for a time lovers, ultimately Svetlana embraced her with the permission of the Prince of Moscow. The embrace only enhanced her relationship with Svetlana and they were inseparable; the Russian revolution changed that, as they were swept apart by the violence and chaos of civil war. They wouldn't be reunited until years after the revolution; they would next meet in the middle of the 1930s and from that point on they were constant companions in Moscow until the Fall of Communism in 1989. Alexsandrina returned to Paris for twenty years and has only recently returned to Sofia at the request of her sire. As her sire's eldest childe, she has taken a hand in educating her brood-mates, most of whom are spread across the known world, though she keeps in regular contact with several of them. Her most recent reunion with her sire has seen them as constant companions and lovers again; she isn't sure what to make of her other Toreador companions in the city, neither is a Toreador of the Eastern European mindset, but all artists have something to contribute to the civilization in which they move.
Personality: To describe Alexsandrina as passionate about dance is an understatement, she believes that all individuals can enrich their lives through dance and she encourages impromptu dance as a form of expression. Depending on the way she dances at any moment, one can tell her mood and even tell what she may be thinking or what she wants you to think she is thinking. She has a vibrant and positive personality; though initially she comes across as overwhelming about her art form, one soon realizes that she is as philosophically involved in dance as she is passionate about it. She often speaks of the other originators of Free Dance as friends and mentors, its obvious that she was close to many of them and as the last surviving member of her artistic movement she is something of a guru to those interested in the history of art and dance. The Central and Eastern European involvement in the development of Free Dance makes it a Slavic social success and those who take pride in their heritage, note the return of such a luminary as a herald of a new age in Eastern European civilization.
Current Events: She was summoned to Sofia by her sire and introduced to the Prince as an alternative to embracing a neonate, even though it is also well known that Svetlana favors a number of artistic mortals in her circle for the embrace.
