Brujah X Nottingham -SPQR- Rome -- medieval

Brujah Robin Leeland.jpg

Sobriquet: Robin the Hood

Appearance: A rough looking man of Anglo-Saxon breeding, his hazel eyes hold the promise of rage that will only be fully expressed in the Cainite uprising known as the Anarch Revolt. Robin's crude haircut and unshaven face are handsome enough in a peasant kind of way. His face and form have yet to lose the tan of days spent working hard in fields and forests. Robin's nose has been broken more than once in filthy tavern fighting and he sports more than a few scars gained before his Embrace. He wears the simple rough spun clothing and jerkins of his native England, without jewelry or adornment, his only equipment a longsword, long knife and handmade longbow and quiver full of equally handmade arrows.

Behavior: Robin Leeland has a sly and rebellious way about him. He openly despises the haughty ways of nobles, mortal or otherwise, and while he pays lip-service to Cainite rulers and their traditions, his contempt is ill hidden. Distinctly a man of the people, his only allegiances are to those like minded Autarkis who would tear down the order of the day in the hope of bring freedom to all. Despite these noble sentiments, Robin understands that destroying the current social order isn't going to happen without suffering and death, rather his goal is to spread his message as far and wide as possible. For can one man really change the world by himself?

History: The origins of Robin Leeland date from the first millennium AD. His early days are shrouded in mystery despite the fact that he was already active in 1100. Some point that his name and appearance coincide with the legendary "Robin Hood", but when inquired Robin just smiles and refuses to answer. Even so he's used to impress neonates talking of King Richard, the Crusades and his days in the forest of Sherwood.

Regardless of his origins, Leeland has struggled against tyrants forever. His hard and dirty features were present in several plebeian uprisings throughout the Middle Ages - taking a direct hand in various peasant uprisings against English nobility, being a particularly strong advocate of the anarchistic tendencies, often fighting at the forefront during military skirmishes.

Recent Events: Robin is on pilgrimage to Rome. Along the way, he has formed a temporary coterie with the fledglings Adana di Sforza and Isabella Correlli. Robin often acts as their male escort and bodyguard, yet neither fledgling has any idea of just how dangerous their protector really is.

Future Events: In the 17th century Leeland and his Furores supported the people of France against the French aristocracy. During this time, Robin hosted famous anarchs such as Jeremy MacNeil, who would fall in love with Leeland's latest protégé at the time - a charitable French noblewoman called Marguerite Foccart. Robin will bless their union and they travel to Scotland and from there to the New World, where the pair bring Leeland's ideas.

The elder Brujah will been active in Europe from this time forward, and unlike the wildest Brujah, he will never actually travel to America. Although his ideas will travel to the New World through his friends, Robin himself believes that the challenging the Toreador-Ventrue hegemony in the old world is a more urgent matter.

Leeland predates the foundation of the Camarilla, and so do his relationships with the Inner Circle and the other elders of Europe which means he has accumulated a huge amount of influence - and may as well make use of it, should the need arise. He still is an experienced warrior who likes to live freely, well balanced between physical and mental prowess - and is known to be proficient in the use of the disciplines of Potence, Celerity, Fortitude, Dominate and Presence.
