Sobriquet: Jess
Appearance: A skinny Caucasian girl. She was sick and addicted before she was embraced, so now she always looks emaciated. Her thin hair is a dark brown, her eyes almost violet.
Behavior: Jess is a nice girl. She always felt bad for the things she stole, and told herself that someday she would be rich enough to pay all those people back. Jess has a dim view of herself, and won't meet people's gaze if she thinks they are "better" than her. She is desperately in love with Alex, her sire.
History: Jessenia was born to a quadroon mother who never told her who her dad was. Her Mom's name was Maria, and Maria was the shame of her family. A few times in Jessenia's life she met the people who were her grandparents, but they were angry and sullen, and never said more than ten words to her. Mom worked as a nurses assistant, but never made much money. In 2025, at the age of 10, Jessenia's mom died. Her grandparents wouldn't answer Jessenia's phone calls. Eventually the city of San Francisco took her in as an orphan. The group homes were awful, and Jessenia often cried for her mom.
Jessenia met a boy by the name of Tommy Maclaren, who she fell madly in love with. Tommy was a bad boy, and at the age of 14, she had sex with him. At the age of 15 1/2 she got pregnant and the city made her abort it. Somewhere along the way Tommy got her to do pot, speed, and coke. Jessenia ran away from the group home and school, and Tommy made her his whore. In 20338 Tommy didn't pay the Zero's for the coke he was supposed to be selling, and they shoved a grenade up his ass and pulled the pin. Then Jessenia was a prostitute for the Zeros.
She contracted several venereal diseases, though the doctors could deal with most of them. On the ragged edge, she wasn't sure if she was going to make it, then Alex came to her. He confessed that he had been watching her for months. He and his friend Ward had decided to give her a choice. She could become immortal and free, or stay here and die. Jessenia decided to become a power vampire and leave the mortal coil to someone who gave a damn.
After he embraced her, Alex and Ward had a lot of tense conversations. Alex explained to her about Kindred society, and how he had broken the law. They all went to Court, and Ward made a deal with the Prince about what they would do with his new childe. Then Alex and Jessenia went to Paris.
