Quote: "Never send a man to do a woman's job!"

Sobriquet:

Appearance: A knockout blond in a power suit and stiletto heels. She arrived at her first skirmish school in a leotard, yoga pants and full makeup, but impressed (and scandalized) the onlookers with her enthusiasm. In combat gear, she looks more more like a starlet miscast in the roll of "female soldier" than the real thing: she is still working on her "serious" look.

Behavior:

History: In life, Adele Pennington was an up-and-coming corporate executive with her eye fixed firmly beyond the looming glass ceiling. A series of manipulative maneuvers caught the attention of the corporation's secret master, who ensured her loyalty with the Blood Oath. In service to her new "mentor" she took up a supernatural sort of corporate espionage, accepting a position with a competitor. Her timely information and back-room sabotage gave her domitor the edge he needed to bankrupt the competitor and seize its assets. Unfortunately, the betrayed CEO discovered the source of his downfall, and used poison to take revenge. Niklaus Schenk awoke just in time to save the life of his prized servant in the only way he could - with the Embrace.

When the Sabbat came calling, corporate security was not enough to save Adele's mentor, and he fell beneath the fangs of the Black Hand. His inadvertent sacrifice bought Adele time to escape, as the Sabbat squabbled over his blood. The desperate neonate fled to a corporate branch based in Newcastle, and gained the protection of the city's Prince in return for a regular monetary payment and use of her corporate contacts. Since then, she has been waiting for someone, anyone, to do anything. Warfare is not her area of expertise, but it has become clear that if anyone is going to avenge her sire's murder, it will have to be her. As such, she has joined the fledgling knightly order created by the Archon Brian O'Reilly. On the final night of the Siege of London, Adele embraced her longtime aide Gloria Alder.

Recent Events: Adele is moving as quickly as she can to re-establish her hold over her corporate assets, which she was forced to partially neglect through the years of the Sabbat Siege. Humankind and humanity remain important to her, at least as resources to be exploited.
