Description: Vidin is the northwestern most province of Bulgaria. It is a semi mountainous region wedged into a gap between Romania and Serbia, and is an important hub for international trade. As a rural and agricultural region, it largely escaped the Socialist reconstruction that marred the face of Bulgaria's larger cities.

The largest population centers are the Town of Vidin (also the municipal capital), and Belogradchik. Vidin the town sits on the Romanian boarder, and controls the main land route between Romania and Serbia. It boasts the regional airport, a brand new federal "super max" prison, and about 70,000 people.

For the last few centuries, the region of the world that roughly corresponds to the Bulgarian province of Vidin was under the Adonis-like thumb of a being known as Goran. In 2005, that changed when the Society of St. Leopold became aware of the monster and his harem of iconically beautiful childer. His ancient castle of Kaleto burned to the ground, the rubble sifted by construction vehicles to ensure that nothing survived.

In the wake of the elder's destruction, several factions moved to take advantage of the vacuum. A Romanian member of the Old Clan bloodline of the Tzimisce known only as Dajbog (Romanian name for a god that translates as Giver of Fate) gained a jump on his rivals, including other members of the League of Ordea and the Sabbat.

Recently, two packs of Sabbat were routed and nearly destroyed while attacking the new federal prison. For now, it seems, the Sabbat is content to sit back and lick its wounds while contemplating new strategies to claim the region.

A private charity has begun the painstaking process of rebuilding the Kaleto fortress. They don't seem to take the project that seriously, however - the work goes slowly, and they NEVER work overtime - and rumor is that the project is simply make-work to provide a few jobs in the community.
