Appearance: A slender man of white blond hair and beard. He stands 6'1" in height, with a gangly frame.
Behavior: Vargo is a kind man, truly concerned with the welfare of his fellow man.
History
Born in what would become the Republic of Georgia on May 11, 1870, Professor Vargo became a Master of Forces and Matter, and developed the Chemical Conversion Engine by the age of 19 (1889). He became famous for the speech he gave at the 1900 Paris Exhibition (at the age of 30) against the development of increasingly more powerful war machines by and for Sleeper governments. He severed his ties with his fellow Etherites in 1909, disgusted by their continued research and development of military weapons.
===Recent Events===Vargo created an Conversion Engine that he will demonstrate at the Exposition. This engine powered the bazis mat’eriis k’onvert’atsiis dzrava, or Base Matter Conversion Engine by changing simple air into energy. When combined with the Temporal Occulus of Gaylor Reynaud, he opens the gateway that brings Czere Ubrig to 1900 Paris.
Vargo Zamtredia has also fallen madly, deeply in love with Kizzy Alyce Aalmers. With the aid of Dr Stanis Nero, Vargo was able to shake off the sway that she was under.
Vargo was targeted in London by the vampires of the city and banished from London by the authorities on the grounds of being a terrorist. Authorities were convinced by the Kindred that Vargo intended to set a bomb off at the London Exposition. He was also shunned by the New World Order, and became aware that his Base Matter Conversion Engine was being refitted to drain life energy from the citizens of the city. He aided in the foiling of that scheme, but lost his freedom to travel to London freely. While he would visit the city from time to time to speak with his friend Stanis Nero, he would do so under disguise and with the assistance of his upgraded Verity machine.
Vargo traveled the Continent, and is slowly becoming a fly in the ointment of the Technocracy as he opposes the creation and implementation of weapons of war. He doesn't publicly attack the Technocracy, but does continually hinder and embarrass Iteration X and the Progenitors. His abilities cause the Void Engineers to abandon a project to harness Sol tas for energy weapons in 1903. Walter Invidicus discreetly puts a price on Vargo's head. In June of that year Vargo marries Kizzy Alyce Aalmers. They mainly live in Georgia, but spend extended time in Paris where Vargo vies for changes to the New World Order Paradigm.
Vargo also comes under more and more pressure from the Ventrue of Paris in retaliation for the matter of Kizzies aunt Katarzyna Bogdanov. Vargo twice crosses swords with the Masques.
