The foul practice of diablerie has reached new heights with the creation of this powerful and as of yet singular, (hopefully) ritual. This invocation of magic allows a practitioner of both diablerie and thaumaturgy to actually strip abilities from their victims should they have any above and beyond that of the caster, and add those abilities to his or her own repertoire.
System: This ritual requires the consumption of an amaranth flower dipped in an infusion of vampire blood, cooking fat, volcanic ash, a finely ground human canine and a small piece of human brain. This gruesome and vile tasting combination represents vampirism, diablerie, the consumption of nourishment, the taboo of cannibalism, the mythical story of gods curse upon Caine to eat only ashes, and the representation of knowledge. This concoction requires the expenditure of a willpower point to actually consume and a self-control roll difficulty 8 to keep down until the diablerie is complete. Should the cannibal be unable to stomach the ritual contents until the diablerie is complete, the caster will vomit the entire contents of the ritual and cannot complete the diablerie, allowing the victim to expire naturally. For each success on the intelligence rituals role, the cannibal may steal one dot of an ability from the victim. The diablerist may choose which abilities to steal, but may not any gain any higher ratings than the victim himself possessed. This ritual circumvents the normal rules of diablerie: The “power” of the consumed soul goes to increase the caster's abilities instead of increasing the diablerist's generation. All other affects of diablerie still apply. This ritual cannot be cast to aid another diablerist.
