The Windy City in Spring

Superb! Keep it coming. Its all there inside you. Just pour it out and let the vampire live again. -- "The Magister 21:04, 23 October 2016 (MDT)"

The scene you edited are better written and reflect the Marcel that I have been trying to portray. He might be a devil, but he is a genial devil. -- "The Magister 18:19, 2 November 2016 (MDT)"

"Looking for a Bite to Eat" was a nice piece of work. I have yet to read further, but I look forward to it. -- "The Magister 17:48, 9 November 2016 (MST)"

The story is spooling out nicely, you manage to keep the pace quick and the voice of Tremen is clear as a bell. -- "The Magister 22:25, 11 November 2016 (MST)"

Thank you. I am trying to keep it that way without dropping things. I had to get my mind right to write the last couple of chapters. I struggle with Son, and his evil. You have done a good job telling that story. Keith, 9:16, 12 November, 2016 MST

Its nice to see you working on this again. Tremen is a deep character, deeper I think than the faces he has thus far shown us. But I think as we push his story forward, we will see the man beneath the masks. Good work, Keith. -- "The Magister 20:54, 18 September 2017 (MDT)"

Today's update was inspiring, I rather enjoyed it. Its the all too human side of Tremen, it makes him believable. Excellent. -- "The Magister 19:13, 21 September 2017 (MDT)"

With each addition, your story gets just a little bit better. Before long, you and Jim Butcher will be doing book signings together. -- "The Magister 23:36, 4 October 2017 (MDT)"

You know, in some ways, its easier to keep up the writing when you know other people are reading it and offering commentary. The hard part, the really hard part, is to satisfy the demon on your back driving you to write when you know no one is reading your work or commenting. As a writer you know the pain of that demon constantly pushing you to create, even when your tire, sick, hungry or in need of your lover. The creative demon is much like the vampiric beast, it doesn't care what you feed it, so long as you allow it to feast. In this way you can control it and then it doesn't matter if other people are reading your stuff or offering compliments, in this way your words make it to paper or the computer screen and they are that much closer to living not just in your mind, but in the collective consciousness, which is where they wish to be. Keep writing, it doesn't matter what or how much or for how long. Just keep writing. --"The Magister 21:22, 4 August 2018 (MDT)"
