Sofia-Grad

Domain: Steel's official domain is the district of Vrabnitsa.

Appearance: A swarthy man of mixed Bulgarian and Turkish parentage; he is thickset, but most of it is muscle. He has a massive upper body, with virtually no neck and short muscular legs. He obviously went bald before his embrace, because his scalp is a smooth as a polished stone. The left side of his face is a pale puckered mass of scar tissue which stands out against his otherwise perfect tan. He favors custom black wraparound Ray-Bans, black Italian power suits and wears a small fortune in gold jewelry. It is rumored that he carries a pair of solid gold knuckledusters because if he lets his men handle too much of the dirty work, he might get soft. Beneath his gold jewelry and expensive suits, Chilik’s skin is covered with prison tattoos that amount to a long and successful history of violence.

Personality: In person, Chilik seems both affable and genial, which makes his sudden, displays of cold blooded violence that much more chilling. Steel was once an official agent of the state, he is well educated in both academics and the policy of terror. In conversation he comes across like almost any other businessman, except that his business is done with a Makarov automatic, instead of with a pen. He realizes that the times have changed and that the future of his business lies in hi-tech and developing new markets for goods and services. That those goods are drugs, guns and other black-market items or that the services offered consist of prostitution, gambling, protection or assassination is really irrelevant; everyone has needs and desires, he is just catering to paying customers, if he didn’t someone else would.

Notes: Since his return to Sofia, Chilik has been seen in the company of Borisko, the Brujah Primogen and Baron Milan Svarovicev, the Tzimisce Primogen. Though the exact nature of the conversations held remain unknown, most surmise that Chilik is making a bid for the position of Ventrue Primogen. His only problem is that Borisko hates traitors to the communist cause and the Baron may be more of an expert in the use of pain and fear than Chilik.

Current Events: Chilik's entire criminal network was recently wiped out by a werewolf attack in a single night. He insists that it will take him a year to rebuild, but many in Elysium are skeptical.
