Sobriquet: The Merchant of Innocence
Appearance: Seker-Aamon stood just under 6 foot - 2 inches tall and he weighed in at about 225 pounds. He was quite tan at the time of his Embrace, having spent time as a ghoul in anticipation of his Embrace on the beaches of Sharm El-Sheikh; for a Follower of Set, he was an avid sun-worshiper. In excellent physical condition at the time of his Embrace, Seker-Aamon was both muscular and trim. He shaved his head in observance of ancient Egyptian religious tradition, but wore a day's worth of stubble on his face in chic defiance of religious custom. He wore jewelry sparingly, mostly for its cosmetic effect to impress his wealthy and debased mortal clients; although, in his archaeological searches he did come across some minor, but true mystical amulets and rings. In terms of fashion, Seker-Aamon was something of a local fashion plate, wearing only the best in high-end casual men's clothing from Europe and America.
Behavior: Seker-Aamon projected an air of confidence tempered by a lack of judgmental presumption. With the appearance of a low-end male model or rich dilettante, he disarmed almost every mortal and more than a few Kindred with his easy manner, casual acceptance, and willingness to listen to and empathize with virtually any point of view, regardless of its degree of prejudice, hypocrisy or immorality. Known for being willing to befriend almost anyone, he was never without sycophants or minions, once they had tasted his wares or become the star attraction of his hospitality. He was well acquainted with the night-life of Cairo as he spent much of his time trolling its countless bars, brothels, casinos, and clubs for new patrons for his unique services. Once befriended, these patrons were slowly corrupted by the easily accessibility of formerly forbidden vices and the lack of criticism from Seker-Aamon on these immoral acts. While he was specialist in pedophilia, he was a keen observer of human nature and would encourage virtual any vice if the end result was to his liking. He believed, rightly so, that within every individual lay the keys to self-destruction and completely believed that stupidity was a vice to be exploited and that fools were born to be used and thrown away, especially by himself.
History: Brought to Cairo by American Setite on religious pilgrimage to Egypt, Seker-Aamon served his master as a ghoul bodyguard for the better part of a decade before he was sold to David Mooreland for the favor of attending the Sleeping Lord of the Dream Court. This former domitor, Leo Oroboros, was a casual follower of Setite teachings with an easy manner and a greasy handshake, he epitomized the Kindred stereotypes concerning the Followers of Set. Despite this, Seker-Aamon learned everything his previous master had to teach on the nature of debasement and the failings of human nature. By the time Leo and Seker arrived in Cairo, the ghoul bodyguard thought he had already seen it all, this turned out to be far from true. Within only a few months of their arrival in Cairo, Seker-Aamon unbound by the bonds of blood, had found his next patron in the form of the American lawyer David Mooreland. At this time, realistically, Seker was more Leo's partner in crime than his servant. Their carefully orchestrated confidence game placed Seker in the possession of David Mooreland who thought he had successfully cheated his fellow expatriate out of a valuable servant. Seker-Aamon served his new 'domitor' faithfully and played the part of the blood-bound lackey with relish. Within a few years, he was one of Mooreland's closest confidants and received the Embraced by 2012. All the while, he maintained secret contact with his partner Leo Oroboros who remained in Cairo studying the religion of Set.
When Mooreland revealed to his 'loyal' childe that he sought a young girl called Afifa the Hearld, Seker-Aamon knew his sire had finally slipped and revealed something of great value. It was Mooreland's idea that Seker befriend the recently spurned Tremere regend, Silvia Kilver in the hopes of finding Afifa. He was only too happy to oblige, and found the warlock regent an easy mark searching for acceptance from the Setites of Cairo. He double-crossed his sire when he convinced Silvia to teach him the difficult discipline of thaumaturgy in return for tutelage in Serpentis and the religious rites of the Followers of Set. If Seker-Aamon could find Afifa the Hearld first, then he could use her as leverage against David Mooreland, perhaps even allowing him to supplant Mooreland in the eyes of Izzat Al-Khunzir, the Setite elder and councilor for Banu al as-Sa'idi. All along the way, Leo Oroboros was Seker's secret partner and carried out much of their plan beyond the sight of David Mooreland. In the early 2030s, Sylvia Kilver finally found the pregnant Caitiff Afifa hiding in the company of the Caitiff leader, Waulkeen of Zamalek island. Although it was far from easy, the partners were finally able to 'acquire' Afifa after she snuck out to see her friend Aziz. Thereafter, Seker-Aamon approached the Setite witch Kahina with 'intelligence' about Mooreland's search for the Hearld. What he learned changed him forever and he had just decided to accept Kahina's tutelage in necromancy to confirm her position that Afifa was somehow the key to Set's earthy resurrection.
But, time seemed to be against Seker-Aamon when Afifa was stolen from his possession by jackal headed vampires from the Western Desert. At this point, Seker-Aamon 'revealed' to Mooreland that Sylvia had located the the Hearld in the possession of the Gangrel of Giza. Mooreland's next move was to strike a deal with Sheridan Foster the Ventrue councilor for Banu al Azraq to press his ancestral claim to the western periphery of Cairo, in other words, Giza. Despite a steady escalation in political gamesmanship and back-room politics, Muhktar Bey, the Caitiff prince of Cairo refused to concede Banu al-Giza to the Cairene blue-bloods thus triggering a shadow war for control of the city. In January of 2016, a bomb destroyed the Tower of Cairo while the consultative council was in session, many members of the council were presumed dead touching off a full scale civil war. With the prince and Izzat Al-Khunzir missing, David Mooreland assumed his sire's position as councilor for the Banu al as-Sa'idi and elevating Seker-Aamon as his right-hand-man. The next few decades saw the Followers of Set go underground, both figuratively and literally, as the Sabbat of Cairo emerged as the strongest contender for control of the city in the 2020s. By the 2030s, shifting alliances allowed for the return of the Giovanni to Cairo for the first time in 200 years. Once again, Seker-Aamon was sent to negotiate with a potential ally, in this case the necromancers who had established themselves in Garden City. After a lengthy diplomatic mission and Seker's considerable efforts, a temporary alliance was formed and a covert mission comprised of both Giovanni and Followers of Set invaded Banu al Giza. Despite their numerical superiority the combined forces of Banu al as-Sa'idi and the Giovanni, they were driven from Giza with considerable losses. The key seemed to lie in the failure of the Necromancer's magic to work west of the Nile. Regardless, for Seker-Aamon the mission wasn't a complete failure as he was able to determine that Afifa had been taken from Giza by the Tremere and was likely being held in the Egyptian Museum. He informed Mooreland that Afifa had been killed by the Gangrel of Giza in retribution for the invasion and watched as his sire frenzied for the first time in decades.
Recent Events: While dealing with Mooreland's steadily declining political position, Seker dispatched Leo Oroboros to recover Afifa from the Tremere, only to lose Leo to final death when the Assamites of Banu Yashkur destroyed the Egyptian Museum as part of an ancient vendetta. Forced for the first time to rely entirely upon his own abilities, he used his mystical skills to locate the pregnant Caitiff deep within the khitta of Banu Yashkur. While it took a decade to outline and put a plan in place, Seker-Aamon found a covert way into the Banu Yashkur in the early 2040s, via the Gayer-Anderson House and its Well of Sorrows. As this strategy came as a complete surprise to the Assamites of Yashkur, the tactic was an unqualified success and once again Afifa was the 'guest' of Seker-Aamon. With Afifa held in a 'safe place', Seker turned his attention to studying rumors of the process required to resurrect Set. He was only beginning to make headway when he was diablerized by an unknown assailant in December of 2042. His final experiences were shared by all his Doppelgängers who are now aware that he was murdered. He left no childer and only a few ghouls who may or may not know where to find Afifa.
