Minor Magical Traditions

Sadhana is a minor tradition only from a Western perspective. After all, there are more Hidus in India today than there were people in the mid-19th century in the world. There may be as many practitioners of Sadhana spread across several clans on the Subcontinent as there are Tremere in the world - but very few of them reside anywhere but in India, Pakistan or Bangladesh. To a large degree, they seem to be content with the situation - they have enough to handle with their own squabbles and dealing with the Kuei-Jinn.

Practitioners use a variety of titles, including Yogi, Guru, and most commonly (or uniquely) sadhu (plural sadhas or siddhi).

Though siddhi display powers much like those found in many other styles of magic, their outlook and practice is uniquely hindu. As the Tremere have learned in converting the Path of Praapti to the Way of Mercury, Sadhana can be an inspiration to new lore, but does not translate directly into other principles.

Sadhana includes versions of the paths of Alchemy (Rasayana), Conjuring (Brama-Vidya), Elemental Mastery (Yaksha-Vidya), Focused Mind (Echo of Nirvana), Hands of Destruction (Hand of Mahakala), Mercury (Praapti), Movement of the Mind (Rishi's Hand), Oneiromancy (Lakshmi's Wishes), The Snake Inside (Temptation of Mara), and Spirit Manipulation (Asura-Raja), as well as the unique paths detailed below:
