Naomhan Walpole
Appearance: Tall and thin, Naomhan is every inch the Ventrue: Handsome without embellishment, aristocratic and utterly self-assured. He usually wears conservative business suits, highlighted with an expensive watch and tasteful ring. He has dark brown eyes, and neatly trimmed black hair.
Background: Naomhan is the scion of a prominent clan, sent to Glasgow in the 18th century for education in politics and government administration. After graduation, he entered the civil service, quickly rising to become an aide to the political director of the Glasgow region. By the time he was 30, it was clear that Naomhan, not the political flunky from London 'du jour was the man to speak with - and bribe - if you wanted results. The last flunky du jour took exception to this fact, and had his young aide poisoned.
Saved on his death bed by his patron, Brother Gilles, Naomhan spent the next decade ruining his poisoner's family, arranging a series of failed investments, disastrous political decisions, and suicides for the sake of family honor. Ultimately, a handful of orphans found themselves consigned to the most brutal work houses in London, their inheritances diverted to more worthy causes. This quest took Naomhan to Edinburgh, London, and elsewhere around the isles, and Naomhan retains a surprising number of contacts around Brittan.
Once his mortal business was complete, Naomhan returned to Glasgow, and settled into the role that he had been groomed for: helping the Camarilla's political machine watch and steer the city's bureaucracy and government. He seems to take this duty seriously, and if he profits by it, it is only because excellence is rewarded.
Influence: Naohman exerts a great deal of influence on the city bureaucracy.
