Sobriquet: Myriam

Appearance: Myriam is quite beautiful for a mortal, but seems quite plain in the middle of the Toreador of Paris. Only recently Embraced, she already show the effects of the Blood, as she is very pale, with bloodless lips, as if she was sick. She wears, while in Paris, the typical female CEO clothes, but is not above wearing practical jeans and T-shirts.

Her brown hair is worn with simplicity, and barely goes beyond her shoulders. Her unique features are her large dark green eyes, giving her the kind of innocent look that makes her appear more like a victim than the predator others think she should be.

Behavior: Myriam was a Ghoul of a Toreador, and even before that, was a follower of the Temple of Set, bred to become their spy in the Louvre. She seems quite submissive, never talking above timid whisper, never looking the other in the eyes. She seems quite unsure of herself when not talking about history, arhceology or occultism. She behaves like a Ghoul, not a Kindred.

But sometimes, she seems to stop. Stop is the right word: She doesn't talk anymore, her eyes loose that timid expression to take a cold, expressionless air. This rarely goes beyond five or ten seconds, but can be quite unsettling for those who see her in such a moment.

History: Myriam was born in 1960, and was discovered by Alexis while she was studying archeology at the Louvre school.

Her apparent innocence and her dark green eyes, as well as her interest for the occult part of history charmed the Toreador Elder. And in turn, she was charmed by this man with his aura of mystery, and seemingly endless knowledge about history. Soon enough, she was given a proposition she couldn't refuse, and joined the archeological special staff of the Louvre, and her work was such Alexis considered ghouling her.

Her apparent love for him still bothered the Elder, who discovered that she couldn't be Blood Bonded! His Auspex probed her mind, and he discovered she was working for the Followers of Set and was told to convey any sensible information to the Serpents, who had, visibly, taken a great interest in the Veilleurs' magic.

Discussions with Laureen decided him to Embrace the woman who would betray them to the Serpents. But the Embrace didn't go as Myriam thought: She was attacked as soon as the Vitae made its effects, and brought to the hidden chambers of the Veilleur's Foundation. There, Meryt-Neith used her own Rituals to take over the body of Myriam as her own, creating yet another Avatar.

Since then, Myriam was officially introduced into the Veilleurs, specializing into historical and occult research. She works currently with Nathaniel. In the same time, she feeds the Setites with carefully chosen information, while, in the same time, spying on them. The use of this Avatar is very hard for Meryt-Neith, as the Setites try to corrupt even more what they think is their mole in the Veilleurs, to make sure she will never turn against them. Still, her visits into the secret chambers of the Temple of Set of Paris have been interesting enough to continue this dangerous charade.

Recent Events:

Notes: Myriam is still weak, and Meryt-Neith would resent loosing an Avatar, so her own bodyguard, Paercebal follows Myriam when she goes out. Already, in their last mission, Myriam was to be beaten up by a Giovanni who was trying to Dominate her when Paercebal had to take care of the brutal Kindred and his Ghouls in a most effective way.

Actual Aim: To increase the quality of her alternate identity, be it among the Toreador, or the Setites. To grow in power (i.e.: Increasing Disciplines).

Rumours: None for now. Yorgues saw her in one of her fits, and he and Nathaniel are wondering if she is not a spy (but they wrongly make her a Giovanni agent).
