Sobriquet: Bea, a pun upon her first name which in the original Greek means bee.
Appearance: Mélissa was a beautiful and athletic brunette in her early twenties before her boyfriend Déodat Deschamps raped her, strangled her to death and then consumed her from abdomen to toes. Now as she slithers through the underworld on the bones of her inordinately long spine, only the upper portion of her torso is still intact, though it has clearly been gnawed upon. Her right arm and right breast are intact, but the skin of her left arm and hand have been peeled back revealing the musculature beneath. Her left breast is missing and her rib bones on that side are clearly countable. She doesn't bother with clothing, but she does wear an antique choker ribbon around her neck to hide the ligature marks where she was strangled with her own pantyhose.
