This ritual allows the caster to gather information on the uses to which kindred disciplines have been put and the varying strengths of said disciplines with regard to the original user vs. the caster of this ritual. This ritual must be cast at the site of the discipline’s use within 5 feet of the origin of the discipline use. Therefore, the caster of knowing the kindred fount must be sure that the discipline use he seeks is present, either have known or seen the discipline in use, or have cast Divining the Kindred Fount in order to pin down the location of the disciplines’ use.
System: The caster of this ritual places herself upon the exact location of the disciplines use, (where the original user stood) and imbibes a concoction of hallucinogenic herbs, cooked fat, vampiric blood, (though not necessarily that of the caster) and unused litmus paper. The caster must make a willpower role to keep the concoction down for 1 round but after this she will vomit up the entire concoction. The caster then closes his eyes, and has a dreamlike hallucination that will reveal details of disciplines used upon the site. Each success allows the caster to interpret one aspect of the hallucination. Details discovered can include; the power of the discipline with regard to the casters own rating; whether or not the discipline used was a clan discipline of the user; the duration of the use; the amount of blood used by the Kindred; and who (if within range) was affected. If the caster of knowing the kindred fount doesn’t possess the discipline that she is trying to gather information on, then he or she is limited to a single success on the ritual.
