Former Titles: - Seneschal of Sofia & childe of Boris Melor

Sobriquet: Greg

Domain: Krasno Selo & The Sofia Police Department

Elysium:: Krasno Selo Market

Description: Greg can best be described as brown, brown hair, brown eyes and a brown mien. He is six feet tall and weighs in about 160 pounds. His hair is worn in a short conservative style; he maintains a precise mustache and a narrow stripe of hair on his chin that he calls a goatee. He wears the rumpled inexpensive suits of a low paid detective and has the curious habit of being able to blend into any setting and disappear in a crowd; later, those who encountered him, have no real recollection of the man.

Personality: A police detective in life, he has a good sense of balancing the truth with staying on the right side of the political powers. He really prefers doing his job right, but is used to skewing the results of investigations when necessary. Since the return of the Tremere to Sofia in 2006, Greg has maintained positive relations with the Warlocks who have lent him the aid or their apprentices in his many investigations; there is no real question that Greg is deeply in debt to the Tremere and with his promotion to Seneschal in late 2009, that those debts will be paid back with interest.

Notes: Greg was born under the failing communist government of Bulgaria, but came into his own as a detective just after the ‘Fall of the Wall’, he was one of the first to embrace the techniques of Western criminal investigation, as such he has worked with Interpol on many occasions and probably has contacts within that fraternity. In addition, he has adopted many western customs in working with Western Europeans and has seen a good deal of the EU. Many of these changes have come about after his embrace and the strain between his sire and himself is now public, especially after Grigor accepted the promotion from Sheriff to the Seneschal of the Ventrue Prince of Sofia in late 2009.

Currently: For the last two years, Greg has tried to field the primogen council's constant requests for information on the prince's whereabouts during his two mysterious absences. Unfortunately, the prince and primogen are at a stalemate on this subject, leaving none of the parties satisfied with the situation. Unfortunately, Greg is right in the middle of this struggle. For the last two years, he has watched the poisonous air of Elysium contaminate the political machine and ruin personal relationships. The only bright side has been his sire's attempt to mend fences with the other primogen, while diplomatic and very un-Borisko, has only thickened the air of paranoia in Elysium. To add to a very dismal two years of long hours and few thanks, mortal political tensions over the Greek Situation and the potential breakup of the European Union has created a political hothouse effect in the capital. Clearly the prince and primogen are using the unstable political situation to advance their individual political goals and the rest of Sofia's night society seems to be following suit. Where all this will lead, Greg isn't sure, but if he doesn't put his own interests first, he may be end up on the wrong side of a Coup d'état.
