Gordon’s Wine Bar is Britain’s oldest wine bar, having opened in 1890. This Victorian treasure is one of the most popular London attractions with wine aficionados, as well as those tourists who simply wish to enjoy a true London institution. The Gordon family have completely maintained the bar’s decor and surroundings, and have absolutely resisted any concession to modernization, ensuring that drinking at Gordon’s Wine Bar is an utterly authentic experience.

Gordon’s Wine Bar only stocks wine, with the wines being sourced from all across the globe, with Sicily, France, Portugal, Italy, Argentina, Chile, South Africa, Spain, India and Australia all represented. The bar also serves delicious, wholesome food, with an array of strong cheeses and gorgeous meats.

Gordon’s Wine Bar is located in central London in a building that, in the 17th century, housed Samuel Pepys and in the late 19th century housed the legendary writer, Rudyard Kipling.
