Goda is a passionate soul and a young woman of strong will, but she is being tested on multiple levels as she struggles to deal with her husband's divine nature, being a new bride and a first time mother. None of these challenges is easy to deal with, together they have nearly overwhelmed her and while she is struggling to deal with each challenge, she appears either stressed out or low in confidence. Nothing could be farther from the truth, and as time passes she is gaining ground in dealing with each of these difficulties.
History
Goda is the eldest daughter of Sigdag the chieftain of Wunnenburg. Cercyon was first introduced to Sigdag after he reforged the sword of the Clansmen of Wunnenburg. So perfectly was the blade remade that Sigdag immediately took the young smith into his family by offering him his eldest daughter as recompense for the work. But Sigdag was a clever chieftain who bound Cercyon to his clan through marriage and now the blood of a grandchild.
Goda for her part was never given a choice about either the marriage or the groom, but has found marriage agreeable if not like what other women experience and she is thrilled to have such a handsome and gifted smith for her mate. Her instantaneous and miraculous pregnancy would have terrified her if she had the time to think about it, but she loves her four babies who are simply perfect, if exhausting, in their mother's eyes.
Recent Events
Goda has started to show jealousy as Cercyon's attentions seem to be drawn elsewhere and after the funeral of the Roman merchant, she now knows a Roman woman to be the cause. She will not let this Roman harlot steal her husband and without much experience in this department, she is likely to try the most outlandish things to keep her husband close.
