Sobriquet: Fatma the Tall

Appearance: At 6 foot - 4 inches, Fatma Uzun towers over most men in Turkey and virtually everywhere else. Nor is Fatma all skin and bones, she has more than a woman's share of muscles. Even after three centuries of living by night, her swarthy skin has an ashen cast unless she expends the blood necessary to restore her skin to a healthy tan. Most of the time she doesn't bother, the modern nights are chalk full of all sorts of mortal fools who artificially bleach their hair, darken their skin and alter every other god given feature if it suits them. Fatma has tried very hard to leave behind her traditional Turkish and Islamic upbringing, but even in these licentious nights she still wears dresses that cover her from the tops of her shoulders to her calves - she perceives this leeway in fashion as rebellious and modern. She prefers somber hues except for her favorite color purple. She rarely wears high-heels for obvious reasons, unless of course, she really wants to make someone feel small in her presence. Despite the modern obsession with skinny little waifs as the feminine ideal, Fatma is all woman and deeply resents those who try to imply that she is somehow masculine. She wears some of the world's most expensive and rare fragrances, and loves shopping for jewelry, clothes and accessories as much as any modern woman. Her naturally black hair is heavily tinted with henna, a fashion popular in her breathing days and that finds personally appealing. While her face is broad, the bones of her face are beautiful in their smoldering symmetry and her dark intelligent eyes are exotically rhymed with Kohl.

Behavior:

History: In Turkey, Fatma the Tall towers above most men. Her father tried to sell her to a husband, then give her away, then finally pay someone to take her off his hands. In the mean time, Fatma went to school, and studied whatever an outcast could get a hold of. Her efforts attracted the attention of an enigmatic old man named Darzaelus, and her father suddenly got a price for her that he could never have hoped for.

Some two or three centuries later, after a tour of foreign chantries, Fatma was the top apprentice in Istanbul. Rumors said the next Regency was hers if she wanted it. Others wondered how long it would be until the pyramid forced her to move up. Then the Banu Haquim killed her mentor, and a new, supposedly battle trained regent has arrived. Suddenly, Fatma has been dragged away from her research and forced to perform tricks for the Clan. Her desire for revenge wars with her irritation at being treated like a performing monkey by a mysonginist prick-sized man.

Fatma's signature purple flames have appeared in nearly every fight involving the Tremere and their allies in Istanbul. They are nothing compared to her other new tricks.

Recent Events: Fatma mourns the loss of her lover Gertie and seeks a way to restore her to the land of the living, or at least talk to her in the lands of the dead.
