Sobriquet: Do

Appearance: Edmundo is tall, with a misshapen face. His eyes are a emerald sparkling green. Edmundo keeps his mostly full head of hair styled in a vain attempt to not be totally hideous. He fails, but it is a vanity point.

Behavior: Edmundo is bitter and vindictive. He loves gathering dirt on others in order to make them as miserable as he is.

History: Edmundo was a beautiful young man. He had his pick of women, and was smooth in getting others to fund his lifestyle. He found great pleasure in degrading women he didn't think fit his image of perfection. On more than one occasion his degradation descended to actual beatings. One night during Carnival he was watched by a passing Nosferatu belittling and beating a woman outside of a club. It infuriated the vampire and he followed the young man home, where the Nosferatu embraced him and locked him in the closet.

His Sire took great pleasure in watching him change and showing him how hideous he had become. The Nosferatu kept him in the closet for a solid week, listening to Edmundo go slowly mad with hunger. His Sire talked to him through the door, telling him what he had become and how to survive his coming centuries. Edmundo's Sire gave him only small amounts of the Sires own blood to keep Edmundo going. Even though he hated what was done to him, he found himself in love with his Sire. When his Sire unlocked the door, Edmundo flew from the prison and fell on the humans waiting for him. When he gathered his mind back to himself, Edmundo realized he had fed from the filthiest homeless in Rio. When he fell back in revulsion, he heard his Sire laugh as he walked away.

Edmundo slowly came to terms with his change, and has been seeking a way to break the bond his Sire placed on him. He managed to get very good at hiding himself, enough so that when he encountered Pai Celestino, Celestino asked him to join the Sect Hunters. Being an innocent where the sects were concerned, Edmundo was a perfect candidate to keep the middle ground.
