Dr. Alastair Barneby
Sobriquet: Dr.Barneby - slash - Jack the Ripper.
Appearance: Doctor Barneby is something of rarity in Kindred society, as he received the embrace in elderly years. Alastair appears to be in his late sixties or early seventies, he has a strong widow's peak and deeply receded hairline. What hair he still has, is silver-white, quite thick and splits his head in half much like the cockscomb of a rooster. He sports an elegant silver-white Van Dyke upon an elongated jaw and unlike most people of his era and age group, he still sports all his teeth, though he rarely smiles, for his toothy grin is more like that of a shark than a human. Alastair's eyes are a watery blue, his skin looks and feels like pale parchment which only heightens the appearance of the varices of his hands and face. He wears elegant bespoke tailored clothing made in Saville Row, a few antiquated pieces of jewelry, an engraved gold pocket watch and he walks everywhere with a silver headed walking-stick. Alastair stands 1.75 meters tall and weights a modest 68 kilos. He smells of lavender hand soap and Burberry - The Beat Eau de Toilette cologne.

Recent Events: Unknown to the vampires of London in 2010 Dr. Barneby encountered a vampire known as Isa Mac Aba. She wooed him with her beauty and abilities. She sang him the song of Lilith, and found a true convert in the mad Naga Raja. He has been in intermittent contact with her ever since. The two of them made arrangements for the Mask of Apollo to return to London, eliminating a curious enemy to the Doctor while at the same time allowing the Mask the opportunity to heal itself in the ensuing fire. Czere Ubireg interfered before it had time to absorb the necessary energy to complete the healing.
Knowing that the Mask needed more to be at it's full potential, Dr. Barneby risked all stealing the Mask. At the guidance of the Mask, Dr. Barneby took the Mask to the place of the original stone ring in London, across from the Cannon Street Station. The Ley convergence there made a sacrifice a powerful gesture.
Unfortunately again Czere Ubireg intervened and stopped the healing process before it could be complete. In the ensuing battle Dr. Barneby used his Nihilists against Natasha Scheinberg, nearly giving her the Final Death. Her damage to Barneby by boiling his blood distracted him enough that Czere was able to put a dagger in his head.
At this time the Doctor is in Torpor, under the care of the London Tremere who don't want it to get out that their pet Naga Raja went on a rampage. They are under enough scrutiny as it is. Fatma Uzun has no intention of letting him escape. What she doesn't know is that Isaih 34 is planning a raid to free their leader.
