Sobriquet: Dona

Appearance: 25 years-old woman, with dark hair and blue eyes. She has her hair cut medium, like Uma Thurman (in Pulp Fiction). She is more awing, and a lot more dangerous...

Behavior: The french IronLady. Always cold and emotionless. She's a vulcano ready to explode. No one working for her would even think of deceive her. The last one was cut alive in little gore cubes in front of her other Lieutenants.

She sees the other Vampires as "Top Lieutenants". In the contrary of Don Caravelli, she prefer female cainites lieutenant, even if all her mortal lieutenant are males. It's like a revenge: The mortal male "big revolver" macho lieutenants craving for the immortality only women can have (as Ghoul or Vampire)...

History: Dona Vanessa wasn't anarchist. She wasn't even against the system, anyway. Vanessa was only Darwinist, in a very personal conception. She was a top Call-Girl, she knew how to seduce, and Don Caravelli fell in her grip. Vanessa was french, but she succeeded to make Caravelli embrace her (he knew, anyway, what he was doing).

But she was only a woman.

Caravelli kept her with stupid and easy seduction missions when she would have liked to manage part of his business. Vannessa did not want to come back to France. Caravelli asked Villon to make her return. Villon asked him for a price that Caravelli couldn't pay. To entertain the Brujah and to destroy the influence of Caravelli in France, Villon accepted Vanessa in Paris when the Brujah weren't accepted. Vanessa started immediately on her work and made her room in the Parisian and French underground, where the Ventrue and Caravelli shared the income of the "business".

Don Caravelli threatened Villon, and even sent an Assamite against Vanessa. Villon who had prohibited the use of Assamites in France, took it very personally, and sent the Masques to "clean" up some of the "businessmen" of Caravelli.

The message was well received and Caravelli calmed himself.

Vanessa asked for help from Villon, which put her in a delicate position if the Prince of Paris asked her to return the service (Rite of Prestation). She has kept to herself since then (Some say that she spies on the Anarchs and the Brujah for Villon).

The 11 April 1994, Don Caravelli died from the hand of the "Dagger of the Giovanni", Madeleine Giovanni, in a Conclave held by the Tremere Justicar, Karl Schrekt. Since this time, his organization was more or less cut in parts by the servants of the Brujah. Vanessa won the French Mafia (with the help of Villon, since she helped him to hunt the Mafioso responsible for the fusillade of the Cafe de la Paix, not far from the Opera Garnier).

She was named the "Dona" by the ones who know she wasn't simply the lover of Don Luigi, but that he was really her Ghoul and Thrall. Anyway, her known haven is somewhere in the restaurant named "Chez Luigi". She's not naive: Someone searching there would have to pass over a lot of devious and deadly traps before finding her little room empty because she sleeps somewhere else...
