Sobriquet: Domi
Appearance: Dominique is a beautiful man, with a slender silhouette, brown hair and eyes. He commonly wears a dark, non-descript coat, with black clothes under it. His Stradivarius, inherited from his old gypsy mentor, is never very far.
Behavior: Even as the Rowane Coterie imploded and exploded, Dom tries now to reconstruct it from the very start. He acquired a common sense and is acquiring practical leadership that would have made him the leader should the coterie still exist, and should his past have been forgotten.
His past errors, and the fact that he is reminded of it everywhile and once hurt him a lot, but he accepts it as his own punishement.
History: Dominique was born in a poor family of Paris' subburbs. When he first heard a gypsy play violin, it marveled him, and the gypsy, undertanding all the love the little child had for the violin's sound, decided to teach him. So Dominique first contact with art was in the exterior parisian subburbs, in some abandoned area, in the middle of his new gypsy family and gypsy guitars.
But Dominique's art was such he soon became better in speed and dexterity than his old master. Still he had things to learn. And the old gypsy taught him how to make the violin speak. How to make it cry, or laugh. Soon, Dominique was seducing his audience by the special link he created between his mind, his hands and his violin.
His true family didn't want a violinist son. Even less a gypsy-inspired violinist son. They gave him the choice, and he choose: He forgot all the ties with this true family and went to live to the gypsies.
Soon enough, his old mentor died. To honor his memory, Dominique tried to enter the schoolof music, the conservatoire or Paris. He was refused. His style, so full of strong and overwhelming emotions frightened the professors. But one of them choose all the contrary.
Florient was a Toreador, and he had discovered a new talent, all under the nose of the Elders of his Clan! He asked Villon the right to Embrace him. Villon was surprised to have let escape so masterful artist, but still, he accepted. But the night of Dominique's Embrace, Florient was killed by an unknown aggressor. Dominique, who survived because of the arrival of the Prince of Paris, believed Villon to be his Sire.
Charmed by the gypsy-spirited Neonate, Villon became his Mentor.
But Alexis needed to create a new team of apprentices for his Veilleurs, and Dominique would be one of them. Villon accepted: The other team was lead by the Gangrel David, and the others worked in solo. The second team would have to be led by a Toreador, and Villon hoped Dominique would be the one.
While at first successful, Dominique's greed took over, and decided to increase his status within the Camarilla. To show how much he protected the Masquerade, he decided to sacrify a Kindred from his own team to further his ambition.
Cath was chosen because of her Bâtard blood. While in mission, for the veilleurs, they were filmed by a camera while Cath used her claws to kill mortals. Cath asked Dom to take the tapes while she disposed of the corpses. Instead of destroying them, he planed to use them. He even went as far as teaching Cath the Discipline of Presence in exchange of Potence, knowing she would die soon, and so, that he would win Potence at no cost!
Then he showed the tape to Villon. The Prince was outraged. So blatant violation of the Masquerade. Not from the tape, but from the fact Dominique had used one to further his petty intrigues instead of destroying it.
Furthermore, Cath, when asked ot explain herself, showed her own tape (soon in her unlife, she had acquired a copy of Dom's one stupidities, just in the case... And she was now glad she had!), where Dom could be seen showing his fangs to a Mage, and then explain him about the Clans and the Traditions!
This made Villon mad about the two Neonates. Dom was his own ward, but Cath was his trusted lieutenant's one (Alexis). Dom was a Toreador and Cath a lowly Bâtarde, but the two were Veilleur apprentices. And while Cath had really well hidden the proofs within fragmented and renamed files of her own Hard Disk, Dominique had kept the tapes (which could fall in any hands!).
The two were condemned to loose all their possessions and resources, and would have to learn to live together in the same appartment until Villon choose otherwise.
While at first Dominique thought he had been treated with more cruelty than the Bâtarde (his violin, his Moonlight Club and his Ghoul, Estelle Vigier, have been removed), it soon appeared she soon lost hope and simply ran away.
The two path's crossed more than one time, and it was never peaceful. When Dominique discovered Cath was using her appearance to seduce the female community (and so creating fast her own Herd), he decided to do the same. But Cath destroyed all his work when she intrigued to make his Herd believe he was HIV-positive! Dominique then entered a very bad Frenzy and acquired a terrible Derrangement: He had to kill her!
Soon after, while the Tampico affair, Juan offered to increase his Generation up to 8th should he accept to serve him as a bodyguard. Dom accepted, and so came back to Paris as a 8th Generation Toreador.
But the loss of Humanity greatly affected him, and he changed as a whole. He developped a natural love for others, and his Nature became Caregiver. When Meryt-Neith, angry at seeing Juan misuse her gift, confronted the Toreador, he was told about Golconda.
Soon after, in the last night of the year 1994, Dominique was integrated back in the Toreador Clan, but without any Prestige. Since then, he wanders around, trying to reconstruct the resources he had before, and searching for information about the fabled Golconda.
Recent Events:
Notes: He allied with the gangrel named Paul Dufresne, and learned Fortitude and Protean from him. he hides it as Paul and he know the Gangrel don't take it kindly to see their Protean Discipline distributed to every Kindred of the world.
Actual Aim: To build back the Rowane Coterie. To prove to every one he had changed. To discover information about Golconda.

He is Blood Bound to Villon (True: Willingly Blood Bound, that is).
He is becoming an Exploiter, as he infiltrate the gay community (False: He have a herd of gays, but nothing more).
