The Morgan Collection

This ritual is a means of punishing proud and/or vain Kainites who insult the sorcerer. The ritual specifically strips the facad of youth and mortality from a kainite, rendering them with the appearance of a mortal with the same age as that of the victim. Needless to say, this ritual has little effect upon fledglings and neonates but can be absolutely devastating upon vampires over a century old. Concurrently, the effects of this ritual can be used to unmask older vampires masquerading as neonates.

System The thaumaturge must incant a passage from the Book of Nod over the Mirror of Second Sight that would normally be used to instigate the level two effect from the Path of Fathers Vengence, Crones Pride. The caster of broken mirror must then catch the reflection of the victims face in the altered Mirror of Second Sight. Once this is accomplished, the mirror with the reflection in it must be cracked, broken or shattered. When this happens, the appearance of the subject alters to that of their appropriate age as though they were a mortal within one round. Any attempt to prevent, conceal or alter this appearance automatically fail and the effects remain for a full 24 hour period.
