Baldurs Bane
This ritual turns any weapon so enchanted into a poisonous weapon capable of killing a human, or making a supernatural very ill. A salve is made of the casters blood, mistletoe, and pine tar. The salve is mixed under an open sky, calling for the aid of Loki and Hel.
System: A caster must prepare the mistletoe berries, blood, and pine tar in a wooden bowl carved with the runes for Loki and Death, and make a roll of Charisma + Occult in the making of the salve. The salve is then applied to the weapon to be used, though all it has to do is break the skin. A bullet dipped in the salve will work, but within 24 hours the weapon will seize/rust and become unusable. Most Lhiannan use wooden arrows/knives to kill their enemies with, and within 12 hours those weapons will have disintegrated into dried bits.
1 success creates a salve that will make humans very sick (5 levels of bashing) but not harm supernaturals.
2 successes will kill a human, and make a supernatural ill if it fails a soak roll.
3 successes will create a salve that is lethal to all humans, and will make supernaturals ill if they fail a soak roll at -3 difficulty.
4 or more successes will be lethal to all who fail a soak roll at -4 difficulty. The poison must break the skin of a supernatural,
humans are affected on contact. The salve turns into a small mistletoe plant with white berries at sunrise.
