Arnviðr
Sobriquet: Rus
Appearance: 5' 11" with bull broad shoulders and a heavy chest. A thin waist and strong legs hold him up. His hair is a dark brown, with red highlights.
Behavior: Rus is watchful, with the air of a man who always expects a fight to be coming. He is brooding, and his jokes can be hard and demeaning. He follows the old Gods.
History: Arnviðr was born on the banks of the Volga, growing strong among his kinsmen. Raised on the plow and the sword, the boy grew to manhood with rippling muscles and hardened hands. Moving south with Oleg of Novgorod, he worked as a swordsman to his people. At Kiev he joined the Charred Oak Company, and began guarding caravans trading with Constantinople. Theodoric saw his skill, and recruited Arnviðr to the pageant. It took no time at all for him to be hooked forever into the pageant.
