Aras Valdemaras

Sobriquet: Valdas (the Lithuanian diminutive of Valdemaras, a name he prefers) or Ross (Name given him by certain members of the courts of Avalon, and not one he prefers to answer to).
Appearance: Aras is a tall man with sandy brown hair (slightly tinged with grey) and icy grey eyes. His wide shoulders and commanding posture tend to dominate any given scene, though this demeanor fades markedly in his Sire's presence. Aras has an impressive collection of scars from his first torpor: Four horizontal, raised, white and puckered scars running across his throat form right to left. In public he has taken to wearing an ascot or in winter a scarf to cover the obviously life threatening nature of the scars, which would be a violation of the Masquerade if noticed by the mortal public.
Behavior: Aras is a tactical genius, but cautious to a fault. For him everything is a function of tactics and strategy, an extension of war. He also possesses a streak of perfectionism which tends to infuriate others, that is until they realize that he demands more perfection of himself than he does of others. While he isn't deranged, he prefers to plan out nearly every action in his life, from having breakfast to a nocturnal siege.
History: Aras Valdemaras was born in a small cottage in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius in 1896. His mother was the daughter of a prosperous merchant and his father a professor of Lithuanian Studies at the University of Vilnius. He grew up in the semi-affluent district of Valakampiai, where his parents owned a three story brownstone home.
He was Embraced in 2016 due to death by VX gas in Gabrovo Grad. Aras is still in adapting to life as an undead servant instead of a ghoul. Mr. O'Reilly made it clear that Aras was to give up his mortal duties, turning responsibility over to his subordinates. His primary responsibility was to adapt to his new existence.
2016-2032: Aras, along with Jurgis Azoulas (Brian's Brujah fosterling) acted as his sire's right hand and enforcer, handling larger security details and minor threats not worthy of the elder's attention. This came to an end when Brian helped drive the Sabbat from Quebec City, and the embrace of his one-time lieutenant Bronius Gintaras. Though Brian settled briefly Quebec, he soon moved on, leaving Aras to look after his holdings and taking his younger childe in Aras's place.
2032-2042: Aras remained in Quebec City, officially as the absent Archon and Primogen's whip. Unofficially,
2042: Aras took domain over the town of Doncaster, in Yorkshire. Here, he trains security guards (and a small cadre of special forces) under the guise of Valhalla Security Services, and holds the line against further intrusion of Baron Shawlands of Manchester into Yorkshire.
