Rank 5 Thaumaturgic Metamagic, based on Hermetic principles.
This ritual is used to convert the damage done by a standard ward (such as Ward Vs Ghouls) or warding circle (Warding Circle vs Ghouls) to aggravated damage. Despite its name, the damage done is not fire based, rather it tears at the very soul of someone trying to violate the protected boundaries.
System: Used in conjunction with the standard casting, this ritual extends the casting time by a matter of three (triple normal casting time, or three days). Three or more successes reduce the casting time multiplier to two. It costs two blood points per day (used to bolster and strengthen the mystical writings of the ward), which must be burned once a day, forcing the caster to succeed in a Rotschek roll at difficulty 7 or fail the casting outright. One success is all that is required.
