To the Most honorable Baron of Yorkshire,
As I am sure you are aware, a group of rebellious Rabble and ungrateful Beasts have intimidated the lawful Camarilla authorities into capitulating to this upstart barbarous League of the Night here in Quebec City. Agents of the League stealth-fully met with the city's leadership during the recent crisis in which the Sabbat lay siege to the capital this last October. I know not whether the leadership was compromised before the threat of siege and extinction or if they were simply coerced at a crucial moment of indecision. Your have been banned forever from the city and all your domain given to the unworthy. Luckily your childer were absent when this occurred or I fear what might have become of them. Sadly, your brother Jeremy Sanderson has also been corrupted by this new sect and he has forsaken his oaths of allegiance, even abandoning his position as Alastor. I do not wish to offend you by telling you all this, but rather seek to inform you of a growing injustice. Furthermore, I offer you my loyalty and if you are willing, I wish to enter into a compact to drive these traitors from our fair city.
