9/17/12 - Faith is a Bitch
Well, one of the people on our list is in a nice neighborhood. Bruno and I decide to pose as a religious couple going door to door, in hopes of having them let us in so we can rewrite their memories and be on our merry little way. However, the gods have decreed that nothing is ever that easy. First it started to go well. Bruno handled the people.. but the children got a little curious, and as I went upstairs to find the actual first hand witness, she started screaming from behind her door. In an effort to not be too super natural, I came in the door and she brandished a Koran at me, and spoke me to "GET BACK" from a person who had seen vampires in action this wasnt surprising. The surprising part, was that when she spoke.. I DID. It was weird, and frighting. Now I have to figure out a way to subdue her. I decided that keeping it less than supernatural will fail, so I compelled her to Sleep. She went down. I threw her over my shoulder to carry her down stairs, when I felt the most horrible burning in my chest. I drop her, and look down to see a religious symbol burned into my chest, and the woman is awake. She should be down for a year, but she woke up! This time I have to put her down using my fists. One thing led to another, including police and we have to shuffle her off to an insane asylum. Bruno convinced a doctor to keep her heavily sedated while we figure out what to do with her.
Problem fixed, but a permanent scar, and a person locked away.. I wouldnt really label it a success.
