Wherein I met Brian O'Reilly. And Yan. They know my sire. Yep that is the kind of day it was. I woke to a phone call from Donatello telling me to drop by. I don't like being in debt to him but I am. So I planned to drop by.

I have made my life work the last couple of years. It amazes me that I had to become part of the most ruthless driving bunch of bastards to get a breath. Between working with the Sabbat and the Giovanni I have a life that I can generously call quiet. I have the warehouse that belonged to the Palladino brothers and their house for havens. I have worked into an opening at the hospital, working once more in the morgue. It feels good to be back working as a doctor again. The easy source of fresh meat never hurts either.

Selecting a nice suit from my closet I move around the warehouse checking on things. I can't let the boys have their heads, or they get into all kinds of trouble. They were just too evil and jaded for too long.

After fixing myself some morning steak from a beautiful young lady who fell from a ladder and broke her neck, I feel satisfied and ready to face the Giovanni.

Arriving at the mansion I find Donatello talking with his family. They don't like me much, but Donatello likes me, has use for me so they don't bother me much. He waves his nephews away when he sees me arrive. I cross the room and shake his hand.

"Dr. Hall, good to see you this evening. Oh, that's right, Dr. Metz now isn't it?" He says with an easy smile. He is one of the few who knew me here in New York before I changed my face and my name. He knows my clan also...that makes me nervous at times, but he is good at keeping secrets. "You can call me what you want old friend." I reply with a smile. "Can I get you some blood, some flesh? You know in my house you have but to ask." He says sitting. Seeing me shake my head no, he steeples his fingers and looks at me from his glittering deep brown eyes. "A member of the Ventrue has come to our city Tremen. He used the airport, which I control. I would like it if you would deliver to him a message that this means he owes the clan a small boon." His words come out softly, slightly lilted with old Italian accent. "Ok. I can do that. I'm just talking right? Not damaging?" His smile is wide and humorless. He nods slightly, watching me closely.
