Veronika Yordan
Appearance: Apparent age – mid to late teens. Veronika stood 1.5 meters tall and probably weighed 45 kilos. She was a nubile teenage beauty with dark ashen hair that hung down to her posterior and eyes the color of dark amber. She still had a teen’s sense of fashion, but she managed to make whatever she was wearing seem better by the way she wore it.
Background: She was still extremely young to undeath and when she came to Sofia, she hadn't been a vampire for more than two or three months. She easily passed for a mortal: blushing, breathing, eating and drinking with no difficulty. Her sire made her in Yambol and an unknown vampire staked him out for the sun, for his transgression of the Traditions. She was given the choice of dying with her lover or fleeing the city, her choice is obvious; unfortunately, she fled with her mortal boyfriend and on the train from Yambol tried to embrace him, but only managed to turn him into her blood bound thrall.
She became known to the Kindred of Sofia when she began appearing in the scattered sites of Elysium; apparently, she had another near brush with destruction when she chose to haven and hunt in the domain of the Tzimisce of Bankya. Her survival was something of a mystery to the court, but perhaps she was simply lucky. She was taken as a protégé on a temporary basis by the Toreador Primogen, Svetlana Valentin who claimed that the girl had no talent for art, other than that of seduction.
Personality: Veronika was a typical teenage girl, bright, but without worldly wisdom and quite precocious. She was a diamond in the rough and there is no telling what she would have made of herself in the coming centuries.
Final Death: In the summer of 2008, Veronica was found dead in her haven by her mentor, Svetlana. Her mouth was stuffed with garlic, her head was cut off, and her heart was pierced with a wooden stake and cut out of her body. She was the first apparent victim of a hunter in Sofia.
