The Mark of Nahema
Description: This ritual buries an enchanted thorn in the skin of a Nahemite so that they might forever after be known as a follower.
Casting: The caster marks the new acolyte with a thorn that has been blessed in a ritual. The thorn is forever after a part of the acolytes body, and during advancement rituals will move to new locations within the body of the believer with excruciating pain. Anyone so marked can be identified as a believer by those who know how.
System: The caster takes a properly blessed thorn of some variety (Roses are popular) and first feeds it from his/her own blood (one point), then forces it into the body of the new acolyte while chanting blessings from Nahema. The caster rolls Intelligence + Occult, at normal difficulty. Success buries it deep in the new converts body.
