Description: With this ritual, the caster may ascertain information about the mortal descendants of one subject. Call to Blood allows the caster to gain a sense of the well being, distance and direction on all of his or her descendants, or those of a willing participant. This ritual cannot discover any information about other relatives such as parents, siblings, cousins, or any of their descendants.

System: The caster places one of his own blood points into a crystal decanter along with powdered magnetite, one ounce of ground 100 year old tree root, 1 ounce of pure water and an uncut specimen of the subject's birthstone. If the subject of the ritual is not the caster, the caster must include a piece of the subject that contains DNA. This body relic is consumed in the casting. The caster rolls willpower difficulty 6 to imbibe this concoction while holding the birthstone in his teeth and concentrating on his descendants. The information garnered from this ritual includes the general health of the subjects living descendants, distance and direction of each, births, deaths, embraces and ghouling. Each success can trace one generation further from the source; thus it is more useful to younger vampires.
