Brother Thomas is a real follower of God. Fascinated by Golconda, he only made the first step toward it (Enlightened **, see Elysium), even if his Christian beliefs interfere with the learning of the peace with the Beast, having too little time to share between his historical studies and personal philosophic enlightenment. He have a True Faith ****, which make him immune to Obfuscate, Dominate, Presence and other Disciplines of powers affecting the mind. His cross is a vulgar one, but with his Faith, can become a deadly weapon:
Brother Thomas can terrorize a Kindred by succeeding Faith roll against the Kindred's Willpower, seriously hurt her by touching her with it (Faith's rating aggravated Damage, Rotshreck Roll for the hurt Kindred), etc.
Thomas sleeps under the Cathedral of Notre Dame, spying over the Inquisition. The aim of his research is to discover the real message of God from the information from all the Bibles from all the religions of the world. Impressed by Buddhism, he still believes than the "Bible" where the message of God is the less altered is the Gospel.
He is the Duc of the Brujah of Paris, more because no one wanted the position after 1871, and because no other Brujah dared to defy this strange Kindred after 1968. But the night will eventually come...
He lives in a little monastery in the "Ile de la Cité", near Notre Dame de Paris. His Herd are the monks living there and tending for the catholic private school, and five among them are his Ghouls.
His relation with the Iconoclasts is nonexistent, as they don't recognize him as their Clan leader. The Individualists consider him like a fool, or a coward, or the two in the same time. But as no one can be perfect, they still agree to acknowledge Frère Thomas is a wise and learned Kindred. The Idealists are the only ones showing some respect for him, but behind the polite facade, each Idealist sees himself as a better Duc than Thomas. But none had the courage to make the first step (and give the Iconoclast some reason to start the infighting in the Clan again).
Actual Aim
None but study history. He is the character that could be a source of knowledge to sincere people, of any Clan (even, perhaps, the Tremere).
