The Diaconesses hospital in Reuilly, located in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, is a private, not-for-profit hospital. Grouped since 2003 with the Hôpital de la Croix Saint-Simon, he and the latter form the Hospital Group Diaconesses Croix Saint-Simon.

History

In 1843, the religious community of the Diaconesses of Reuilly founded a first house of health, which was enriched with a first pavilion in 1872 and then with a surgical pavilion in 19191. In 1926 the Maternity was opened, then in 1932 a School Nursing education.

The establishment then underwent several changes of status: agreement with the Social Security in 1952, the house of health Protestant becomes private hospital in 1972. The evolution of the legislation allows him to participate, from 1976, public hospital service. It is now a 152-bed facility with a general medical service. The Vermeil building (now the maternity ward) and the Malvesin building (main building) were completely renovated from 1992 to 2002.

Since 2003, the Diaconesses Hospital has merged with that of the Croix Saint-Simon, under the management of the non-profit organization Groupe Hospitalier Diaconesses Croix Saint-Simon.
