Before the rumor mill blows things out of proportion, yes, Justicar Di Zagreb was killed in action during our victory in Montreal. His sacrifice helped the Camarilla deal a powerful blow to the Sabbat and the antitribu, and he died a hero.
All those not actively involved in missions should take steps to free themselves from current entanglements and be ready to move should the need arise. Consider yourselves on alert.
Priority one right now is to capture any Sabbat for interrogation, particularly any who might have been in Montreal or nearby cities. If such an opportunity arises, all Chantries have been alerted to make all possible resources available. Capture the target, secure the target in the nearest Chantry, and prepare the captive for transport to Vienna. Torpor is an option for holding more difficult captives.
As always, keep your eyes and ears open. We need to know what rumors are flying, and keep things under control.
You all will be contacted individually soon. For now, most of our resources are dedicated to holding the ground we took in Montreal. Loyal, ambitious Kindred should be encouraged to find their fortunes in Canada, but don't leave your posts personally: We need to keep our eyes and ears around the world.
Remember, this is not the first time we have taken a loss. We remain strong, and will soon recover. A new Justicar will be chosen very soon.
