Appearance: Bernard is short (5 foot, 5 inches) and stocky, about 200 pounds, but after joining the army, its all muscle.
Behavior: Bernard is pretty good natured and is liked by everyone in the platoon, even if he is a pussy conscientious objector.
History: Tex was the eldest son of a Houston oil magnate who joined the army spite his father rather than kill commies.
