10 Spen Lane
Description: Located along Spen Lane, halfway between St.Andrewgate and St.Saviourgate in the east-central quarter of York, number 10 doesn't really stand out, at least not at first glance. Originally built in the Tudor style sometime in early 16th century on the site of a demolished monastery, the house was later rebuilt in the Georgian style in the middle 18th century.
