Description: Élodie was born into the Couture family of Parisian clothiers. The family is wealthy, but is considered middle class by upper-crust Parisian society. She grew up the middle child and the only daughter of the Couture family. Because of this, she received a first class education, but decided to pursue education with an emphasis in languages, which is how she met her husband Jean. The marriage has had its ups and downs, but Élodie's treasure is Raphael, her son with Jean-Baptiste. The trip to Brazil was the first family vacation, but it has turned into a nightmare for Élodie, as she has been raped repeatedly by the Moradores. At this point, she is more than a little crazy and will need years of therapy to overcome her trauma.
