Main Page -x- Level One Rituals -x- Level Two Rituals

Description: The ritual enchants an infant’s skull to enhance the necromancer’s intimidation. When this ritual is cast, the necromancer inspires fear as if he were a professional assassin or torturer. For this ritual to take effect, the caster places an infant’s skull in his pocket.
Origin: Benesj the Black
Ingredients: An infant’s skull and the caster’s vitae.
Casting: The necromancer must bath the skull in his own vitae and chant an invocation in Greek, over it for five minutes.
System: Intelligence + rituals = 4. The caster gains two additional dice on all intimidation related rolls for the duration of this ritual. This power lasts for a number of hours equal to the successes scored on the activation roll.
Reference: This ritual is an adaptation of the Tremere’s ‘Impressive Visage’ ritual found on pg.89 of Blood Magic – Secrets of Thaumaturgy. The “Impressive Visage” ritual gives the caster two additional dice to Appearance related die pools; the system is identical, but I have adapted the idea to fit necromancy and its long history of evoking fear through ritual sendings and curses. This ritual takes the place of the “Bone Mask” ritual which created a similar effect, but was ultimately too powerful; honestly, I feel this iteration is better written and achieves the same goal.
