Lovech is a highland province in north central Bulgaria, particularly in the south. Its relatively small area houses about 170,000 people. The province is an industrial center in Bulgaria.

The City of Lovech boasts about 50,000 people, and is the home of Great Wall Motors, Bulgaria's only national automobile manufacturer. The economy has been much less effected by the fluctuations caused by Bulgaria's turbulent history, and the town is quickly filling up with economic refugees in the current uncertain climate.

Armin Fischov, a Ventrue with some relation to the Arpad line, has held power here since before the Turkish invasion. He maintains cordially neutral relations with his neighbors, politely, but firmly rebuffing all of their communications. It is rumored that he has given a much colder reception to his fellow Ventrue. Armin's childe, Blagun, held power in the nearby town of Troyan, but Armin seemingly did little to help him when he fell afoul of hunters in the 1960's.

The Town of Troyan is the second most populous town in Bulgaria. It is a regional center of craft-work, and its products are prized through the country by those who appreciate and can afford hand-made masterworks. It is the home of a Toreador, Branimira, who seems to have the blessing of Armin in nearby Lovech. Branimira has cordial relations with her neighbors and the Southern Court, and has gone to some lengths to learn to interact well with the local Tzimisce.
