Sobriquet: Naoko

Appearance: Naoko is a small woman (1m53) with shoulder-long black hair and blazing red eyes. She is beautiful and appears fragile at first sight. She was a ninja (even if she was mostly trained as a Geisha) and she worked hard to make up for her physical possibilities after her Embrace. So, she walks with a feline grace, but people with knowledge in martial arts will detect she is quite good at it.

Like her Sire, she favors black clothing, but likes more latex or leather, and tight clothing. She always wear black shades, and knows how to behave. The problem is that her arrogance is plainly visible when she is not working at seducing someone.

She always wear a black silk scarf around her neck, hiding the ugly scar that almost cost her her life.

Like all the Members of the Blood Dragon, she has the tattoo of a Blood Dragon intertwining with a black praying mantis (which is her symbol).

Behavior: Naoko discovered her new talents, and she is drunk with them. While she seems to be quite controlled, in a very 'Japanese' way, she is, under the veil, like a whirlwind wanting to be freed. Her beast is strong, and her deviant nature, who appeared soon after her being almost murdered, does not help resisting her cruel instincts.

Anyway, she is quite content with it, and she can now pool in the strength of her Beast (Merit: Berserker).

History: Naoko was the daughter of ninja clan member who never saw her father. She was taught the secrets of the Geisha to act as a spy for the Clan. Her target were the masters of political or financial milieu, who despite their apparent proper behavior, soon showed an unhealthy need for deviant sex or abuse.

Naoko was a good geisha, but her loyalty for the Clan made her go beyond the successes asked by her Clan: When they asked for the price of this or this company, not only she came with the price, given to her by her client, but also she brought with her a whole file about it, describing the flaws that could be used in a negotiation to decrease or increase the price.

But the Yakuza didn't like the Blood Dragons' actions, and one night of 1963, they decided to teach them a lesson. They slit open the neck of Naoko with a saw knife. Her client was spared as a lesson, but fell unconscious from the shock of his Geisha on the ground, blood running fast from her badly torn neck.

Just minutes after, Kodai arrived there to retrieve urgent information, and found the client and his daughter. He fed her with his own Vitae. The client was brought back to the Clan headquarters for interrogation.

Noako was now a Ghoul, but the ugly scar remained, forming a ugly line covering half her neck. This brought her career as a geisha to an end. She asked her father and Dormitor to teach her the secrets of the Blood Dragons Ninjutsu. Kodai accepted, and soon after basic training, in 1966, Naoko was ready to be his apprentice in missions.

Her first mission was to kill the Yakuza who had murdered her in a similar fashion. Thanks to the Vitae of her Dormitor, They died, and that night, by inscribing the Japanese character for the mantis on the white wall of the mansion with the blood of her victims/murderers, she won her surname, who would become her symbol: The Blood Mantis.

Just after her tattoo was inscribed on her body, she was Embraced, and become her Sire and father's assistant. The Yakuza acknowledged the murders, that it was lawful revenge. So they made a tentative peace with the Blood Dragons. The two sects worked for the same ends, and soon, allied themselves.

Some secret masters of the Yakuza were Kuei Jin, eastern vampires, who wanted to put agents in most Chinese/Japanese colonies in the world. Paris was such a city, with over 200 000 Chinese, but they have been countered by a Chinese mage with apparently no little contacts with the Kin-Jin (Western Kindred). Also, this city seemed to be a fortress of those Kindred, and they needed supernatural allies knowing their ways to infiltrate the city and prepare the invasion.

Kodai and Naoko were chosen, and so, they went to Paris. They studied the criminal organization of the capital. The Chinese Mage was controlling the Chinese population with quite a success (he was effectively protecting them, not abusing them!), but the Mafia was warring against itself.

By simple luck, they discovered three principal Kindred controlling the Mafia factions, and soon, two of them were enough weakened. The last, Vanessa, seemed to win the war.
