Nosferatu, Humanity, and abating the Curse.
Nosferatu begin the game with a zero appearance. This is a brutal flaw, making contact with the human population nearly impossible under normal circumstances. For the purposes of my game ( Keith ) I am allowing the spending of blood to be able to increase appearance up to 1.
System: Only vampires following the path of humanity can exersize this ability. The vampire must spend blood in the amount difference between his or her humanity and 7. Such an expenditure raises the vampires appearance up to 1. The effect lasts up to one scene. If in the mean time the vampire fails a humanity or frenzy check, such appearance change is lost. Nosferatu with humanity of 8 or higher can actually spend blood to raise their appearance to 2 (10-humanity X 2 for this effect to determine the blood cost. E.g. Belinda the Nosferatu has a humanity of 8, through an act of concentration (no blood loss) Belinda raises her appearance to 1, but wishes to raise it to 2 while meeting that cute Ventrue elder. She must spend 10- 8(her humanity rating) for an expenditure of 4 points to raise it to 2.)
