History: Da'shaunn was embraced in New York during the 1980s from the remnants of a particularly ugly inner-city gang war that left most of the participants dead. Da'shaunn was one of the dying, but he tenaciously clung to life well past the the expiration of his enemies and allies alike. It was this trait that impressed his sire and earned him the embrace. Unfortunately, only a decade later an infernalist joined his sire's pack and when about the business of corrupting each and everyone of them, including his sire. When the decisive moment came for his corruption, Da'shaunn refused, refused to be corrupted, refused to be taken prisoner and refused to let the infernalists live. The next night, he rose from the earth surrounded by the corpses of his former pack and was seized by the Inquisition who had been searching for the source of infernal taint in New York. Da'shaunn was interviewed, interrogated and tortured to find the truth, then he was proclaimed innocent and offered a position in the Inquisition - he accepted.
