The Second largest and fast-growing city in England, Birmingham has only recently rose to prominence, and is the youngest of Avalon's Baronies. Birmingham is a decentralized example of modern urban sprawl, without any single central population zone. Its urban population peaked at 2.7 million before the civil war (2015).
